Tour for Kids 2011 Team Shot – One of our amazing riding days supporting a great cause.
A note from Tour for Kids to all participants - On behalf of the Coast to Coast Against Cancer Foundation and our incredible Corporate Sponsors, we wanted to thank you for making our 8th Annual Tour for Kids Ontario such an incredible success. The 4 days was truly a magical combination of cycling the beautiful Ontario cottage country, wonderful people, incredible spirit and fantastic weather! Okay, maybe the hail, rain and a tornado on the Sunday wasn't that magical, but challenging weather on at least one day is a Tour for Kids Ontario tradition!
As riders and volunteers, everyone contributed to making this such an incredible event. As of today, we are at a record $1.7 million and counting (up from $1.4 million in 2010) and with follow up events and your support we believe we can achieve a stretch goal of $2.0 million. Coast to Coast Against Cancer Foundation will be distributing 100% of these funds to a number of worthy charities that support children and their families including Camp Trillium, Camp Quality, and Camp Oochigeas. Every penny will go towards making a difference in the lives of kids living with and beyond cancer, and to ensure that kids continue to experience the magic of Camp.
